How it works out

  1. Bowls per bucket = 10,200 g of sorbet × (100% − waste allowance) ÷ portion size, rounded down to whole bowls. 10,200 g is the bucket's net weight (22.49 lb).
  2. Sorbet cost per bowl = delivered bucket cost ÷ bowls per bucket.
  3. Total cost per bowl = sorbet cost + toppings + packaging.
  4. Gross contribution per bowl = selling price − total cost per bowl. Its share of price = gross contribution ÷ selling price.
  5. Gross contribution per bucket = gross contribution per bowl × bowls per bucket.

Who is Austropical açaí sorbet for?

Campus dining, foodservice and grocery. Buckets are for cafés, campus counters and bowl bars. Grab'n Go cups suit campus stores, micro-markets and convenience stores. Pints are for the grocery freezer aisle.

How many açaí bowls does one bucket make?

What formats and case packs are there?

Three formats: a 16.9 fl oz (500 mL) pint, 12 to a case; an 8.5 fl oz (250 mL) Grab'n Go cup with a spoon, 18 to a case; and a 22.49 lb (10.2 kg) foodservice bucket, sold by the bucket.

What are the bucket specs and pallet?

The bucket is a white square pail with a snap lid, 9.65 × 11.61 × 9.76 in (24.5 × 29.5 × 24.8 cm). Buckets ship 120 to a pallet, 15 a layer × 8 layers, on a 47.24 × 39.37 in (1200 × 1000 mm) pallet.

How do I order Austropical açaí sorbet for foodservice?

The ten foodservice buckets are set up as items at Vistar, a Performance Food Group company: TLL65266 to TLL65275, Austropical supplier number 101808. 20 retail items are set up with Vistar. When can operators get the buckets?

The first bucket flavor lineup and delivery timing are being confirmed. US retail launch planned for March 2027, starting with Original Sensation and Mango in pints and Grab'n Go cups. The other eight flavors follow; dates to be confirmed. The first US container is planned for February 2027; arrival timing must be confirmed. Nothing is on sale before the container arrives.

Are the buckets organic, vegan or kosher?

Three flavors are USDA Organic: Organic Açaí Original Sensation, Organic Mango and Organic Coconut. All ten flavors are certified vegan (Vegan Australia) in pints, Grab'n Go cups and foodservice buckets. Nine flavors are kosher (Kosher Australia) in pints, Grab'n Go cups and foodservice buckets: every flavor except Açaí Strawberry Crush.

How long does a bucket keep?

24 months from manufacture, sealed and stored frozen. Keep frozen at 0 °F (−18 °C) or below.

Is the item data in GDSN?

Yes. All 60 items are published in GDSN through Syndigo (information provider GLN 9377779574331): a GTIN-14 for each flavor's pint, pint case, cup, cup case, bucket and bucket pallet.
